Founded for the advancement of deerstalking, bushcraft, shooting, photography and the like; and the fostering of ideals leading to the preservation of all native flora and fauna. An outdoor recreation club principally interested in the environment, deer welfare and ethical hunting.

• Supporter of the Tararua Weka Rescue Trust.
• Club night: 8.00pm, 2nd Tuesday in each month except January and April. Door charge $2.00.
• Venue: Evans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Clubhouse, 501 Evans Bay Pde, Wellington.
• Rifle range open on Sundays for members and their guests.
